A new web audit service for digital media has been launched by the Audit Bureaux of Australia (ABA).
It is being powered by Nielsen Online’s Market Intelligence system, it will enable online audience data to be listed alongside audited print circulation figures on the ABA’s eData portal.
The Market Intelligence system is already used by a number of major publishers including News Limited. Its key metrics are unique browsers, page impressions, sessions, frequency and duration. Participating publishers will receive a comprehensive audit upon joining up, with monthly audits thereafter.
